The reels were screaming this morning. We put 8  big Spanish in the boat and we were back to the dock by 11:15

We almost lost this nice Spanish Mackerel to a Tiger Shark this morning. The Tiger Shark followed it right to the boat, I quickly gaffed the Spanish  and got him in the boat

Beating the heat

The best place to be during this heat wave is fishing. We spent some time  on the reefs.

Mahi, Flounder and Mackerel

Mixed bag today.

Nearshore Mahi Mahi

We caught this 17 pound Mahi about 6 miles off the beach. Site casted to him with a 2 ounce Barbarian jig.

The seas were a little choppy this morning, we fished the reef a little and back to the dock by 10 a.m.

We put another mahi mahi in the boat today. What a beautiful fish.

The ocean is alive with flying fish and other bait fish on all our nearshore structures . We caught this nice Mahi Mahi with the first bait in the water. A great way to start out the day.

Amberjack

We hit the reefs and caught some nice Amberjack. We checked a couple bait balls but No cobia sightings today.
